Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time occupational therapy opportunity is available for a licensed OT to support K-12 students in a school setting in Clovis, NM. This contract position runs from December 1, 2025, through May 21, 2026, providing direct therapy and conducting evaluations to help students reach their individual goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Performing comprehensive student evaluations to assess needs and progress
- Designing and implementing individualized therapy plans based on student caseload
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure effective therapeutic interventions
- Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with school policies and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Active certification and license as an Occupational Therapist in New Mexico
- Experience working with school-age children, preferably across multiple grade levels
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with school personnel and families
- Flexibility in caseload management based on experience and student needs
This position requires full-time onsite availability, with a 37.5-hour work week. The caseload will be tailored to your experience and preferences, allowing you to provide the most appropriate level of support for each students developmental and educational needs.
